General Overview
The ISCSO 2011 is an international student contest in the field of structural optimization. The main goal is to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to solve engineering optimization problems. The competition is supposed to be organized and judged by graduate students from different universities all around the world. The honorary chair of the ISCSO 2011 is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuzhan Hasançebi from the Middle East Technical University (METU). All the students of civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering, who are interested in optimization, are strongly recommended to take part in the ISCSO 2011.
